Trying to gauge the merit award opportunity at this state school for out of state admission. Unlike many other schools, the acceptance letter did not reference any merit award, and financial aid office was strictly working need through FAFSA.

Our daughter is a junior at GMU and loves it. We live in GA. She gets an out of state grant each semester for $3000.00. Additionally, GMU participates in something called the academic common market, where, if a degree program is not offered in your home state and GMU has the program, you pay instate rates. She just wanted to go there and didn’t have a particular program in mind. Our ACM course (there was only one 3 years ago, I don’t know if more have been added) is a BA/BS in Integrative Studies - legal. It’s offered through the New Century College. Hope this helps.
