<p>i heard about this one school in texas, where ppl study sexuality via PORN. no joke.</p>

<p>uci offers the ability for students to teach classes in area they’re interested in. any of those classes can be “interesting” classes. </p>
<p>the starcraft class was also one of those- a second year physics major or something taught the class. in terms of interesting classes taught by full profs, soc 69 is the only one that comes to mind. with all the budget cuts, i figure most of the non-essential classes (ie. fun) classes would be cut. </p>
<p>edit: trans-country gangs or something. mexican gangs and how they influence america.</p>

<p>Whoa these courses sound cool to take. My question is that are some courses offered from quarter to quarter or some that are taught if the professors feel likes to teach it.</p>
<p>Some are offered once; others seem to turn up regularly. Freshmen have registration priority for many of the University Studies classes, so check out the schedule of classes online before SPOP and sign up then. <p>If you sign up for classes you might want to take, you can check them out. If they aren’t as interesting as they sound, or your schedule is too heavy you can drop them in the first two weeks. You can do it online for classes with “ead” activated. (Electronic Add Drop)</p>
<p>I recommend the cell phone banking one. The guy who is teaching that(head of the anthro department) is an awesome lecturer and really interesting/funny.</p>
