So I'm trying to convince my parents to get a DSLR for me. </p>
<p>My dad has an old (circa 1970) Asahi Pentax Spotmatic SP SLR camera. The batteries are getting harder and harder to find, but the lens are still really good. So I was thinking of using the lens with a digital SLR. </p>
<p>So, my question is this: Where can you get used DSLR bodies for less than a whole camera system (body + lens)? Preferably a Pentax DSLR, like the K-x, but I think, from what I've read about using these manual metering lens, that any camera would work (though I prefer Canon and Nikon if not Pentax).</p>
<p>If that's not possible, I guess I have to go buy macro lens/dslr adaptor for my iPhone. :'O</p>
