Any programs accepting applications still?

So long story short, I got rejections from the Summer Programs I applied to. Does anyone know if any Programs/internships are still accepting applications? Thanks!

Forgot to add I am interested in: Mathematics, Physics, and Astronomy.

Thanks again!

Check locally. What city/state do you live in?

@portugueselover Thanks for replying! I live in CT.

You could contact Operation Catapult at Rose-Hulman. They might take a late applicant.

Apply to HCSSiM. It is a prestigious maths program. It is a bit quirky, but that’s one of the things that makes it special and unique. Here’s a link: http://www.hcssim.org

Brown University Pre-College Programs sent my daughter an email this afternoon that over 250 courses remain available. Good luck!

@apple1893 are there any museums around you? I’m currently in a museum program and got an interview for a summer internship at one. Museum work looks pretty great on applications too.

Second of all, I know you said you’re interested in math and science, but if you’re a junior, you can apply to girls/boys state. The girls one isn’t accepting applicants anymore, but boys maybe does. Try finding a local post or call the main office for info. It’s free and you can get scholarships.

There are also GenCyber camps, check if there are any near you accepting applications.

Also, check local universities for free programs, and check again if you’ve done so already. I found a program that didn’t exist until a few weeks ago by checking a local university. And of course, aim for free programs, since all expensive programs do is show you have money.

Email professors.

@NewAgeGilgamesh @intparent @Ldoponce @portugueselover Thank you so much for your responses, they really helped!

@tonystarkofwinterfell As someone who does not have the required experience to do research with a professor. How do I email them asking to just learn from them and understand the field?

Columbia UMass Amherst NYU Fordham

Say exactly that! Email as many as possible, though (as in every professor in a field you’re interested in in a 30 mile radius). Make your emails specific to their research interests.
