<p>And by tips, I mean obscure but frequently used math formulas that are never mentioned in guide books.</p>
<p>I've pretty much got the basics mastered, save for coordinate geometry which I can't do to save my life. Area formulas, etc. etc. I got it down.</p>
<p>For those of you who took the SAT more then once, what type of questions do you frequently see?</p>
<p>I don’t know too many formulas, but all I do is:</p>
<p>1) Guess and check (plugging in random numbers)
2) Plugging in answer choices</p>
<p>For literally EVERY SINGLE QUESTION. Unless it’s a geometry one with circles and stuff, I hate those…</p>

<p>i’ve been told if a geometry figure is drawn to scale you can use scrap paper as a ruler, never really tried it though. and yeah plugging in is huge.</p>
<p>A big one: after you solve, make sure you look back to make sure you answered what they asked you. I did a good job yesterday of not doing that. Haha.</p>
