It seems from other posters as well that it is only Olin....I'm pretty lame, but can somebody make a decisions/stats thread for Wash U RD?

was the acceptance email sent to all Olin applicants who got in, or only a select group they are flying down?

the email wasn't that specific, tennis89, but they offered us a expense-paid trip for Olin admits or if we wanted to visit any other time in april

well...applied to olin and no email was in my inbox today.
guess I can put WashU into my rejection pile now :/

ya i also applied to olin and didnt get an email today..... does that prob mean i was rejected?

I looked at posts from last year and the few who posted that they hadn't received an e-mail were eventually waitlisted. that's ALL i can say on the matter though.

Sweetness! Olin sent me an email informing me that I'm in. I think they sent it out early because on their email, they wanted students to RSVP on a free trip to the school from April 4th to April 6th.

Shucks, I didn't get one. Olin was a way reach for me anyways.

March 15 is only for Olin, right? Because the status page says decisions are on April 1 (ironically Fools' day).

if u dont get into the business school, can you still get into the regular college?

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....so its just olin right....the arts and science haven't come out yet...right...

My son and I went to that free weekend when he got in, it's a good time for both parents and students.

if i didnt get an email, does that mean i was rejected?

in response to ahhhhhhhhh: arts and sciences are supposed to be online around thursday march 13. you check by going to the application status page and then on the bottom there will be a a little thing to click on that says "Check your admissions decision" and you click on that. at least thats how it was for ED.

hey- i got a letter from Washu. i am arts and sciences. it was a "early notification", and I got in! i live in st. louis, so other early letters may come tomorrow or a little later.

is it true, what some of the other threads have said, that if your stats are too high WUSTL might reject you because they think you won't enroll there & will decrease their retention rate?

@gilbert....was yours a likely letter or the real deal...don't scare me!!!!!!!!!

ahhhhhhhhhh, you are the most annoying person ever.

Harsh, vandyman! He's not annoying, he's just extremely anxious, which is understandable.

But seriously, ahhhhhhhhh, don't get so set on this one school. I'm not saying you won't get in, but I fear you will go mad if you don't. I got deferred from my top school (Tufts), but I dealt with it and now I realize that there are other awesome schools out there and i'll probably be happy at most of the places I applied to.

sorry ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, but it was the real deal.
