how am i annoying??

but gilberto.. you said it was an early notification. so which was it? the regular admission letter, or an advanced notice?

i guess it doesn't really matter, because either way we're all going to get a letter - rejection or acceptance. i just want to know if it's going to be here in the next day or two, or if it may be a few weeks.

OK so I am a freshmen at washu right now and this is what I think is going to go down. So i was sitting at bears den a few days ago and I saw that an admitted students phone a thon is going to happen the 18, 19, and 20 of this month so you can assume that letters will be out by that time....

oh wow so we'll definitely know soon then. thanks manjaap!

sorry for not making it clear. it is an early notification of admittance into Washu. its not one of those "likely" letters. But it is not the real admission letter. it said the "official" letter will come in a few weeks. and, since i live in st. louis, this came a lot faster for me than for you guys around the country. expect these letters, if you got one, to come in the next few days.

I guess I'll wait for the online decision then. WUSTL's letters took an average of 2 weeks to reach me...

Congrats to all those who are admitted~!!

Since I'm an international, I got all my letters from WUSTL from an address in Europe (I think it was Sweden?)
Do you know if WUSTL will send admissions notification mail from that regional address or will all the letters be sent from USA?

I can't believe it's so soon!
Congratulations to everyone already admitted!

My d has not received any notification yet. However, I did notice that the dates on her status page has changed. Midyear transcript shows that it was processed as of today. FA shows that it was processed March 6.

When was the letter dated, gilberto?

hey, i just got the same letter as gilberto. its an "early notice" mine was dated march 6. i dont think its a "likely" letter because it is definite. it says that ill receive the formal letter within the next few weeks.

i think they might be sending this out to some people already because of the multicultural weekend. u have to rsvp by march 20 according to my letter. so yay, this is my first acceptance so far.

congrats gilberto

Did it come in a priority mail envelope?

I just got one too.

My S just called and I asked him if he wanted me to open it. So yes! it did come in a large priority mail envelope. Good luck to all. His problem is going to be getting from Duke to WashU without comming back home.

Maximus001 - Haha I'm the other way. I have to get from WashU to Duke without coming home. WashU April 5-8th and Duke 8-10.

bbd, That's so funny! Congrats to you and your folks. This is turning out to be a good season. If you want to connect with our s pm us. He's a pretty laid back goofy guy. You'll probably get along great.

i'm in!! & its so nice of them to use priority mail...

I got an early notification letter!

Is everyone who got the letter a minority? I really hope so, because I did not get one haha.

Anna, that's a good question. Our S is not considered a URM but is culturally mixed.

I don't think its necessarily URMs, just culturally diverse people I guess [unless any Caucasians have received one?]

I am hoping this is true too because I haven't gotten one =/
