so i'm off to boarding school, and i have no clue which ones to apply for
any recommendations would be great :)

First decide what kind of school you are interested in, large, small, what region, sports vs academics etc… Boarding School review is a good starting point, you can search under any criteria. Be sure to match the school to YOUR needs, not to what other people tell you. Then go visit- there is no substitute to seeing the shool first hand.
Once you make your choices, ask other students on the Board who attend your chosen schools to give you some feedback. I can only offer feedback on Groton, as that is where my daughter is, but there are parents/students from ALL sorts of schools on this board!
Good luck!

I second the advice of MDMomofTwo. boardingschoolreview.com was the first step for me as well, although some of their information may be a little outdated.

I like this site [Boarding School Guided Search - The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS)](http://boardingschools.com/find-a-school/search-tools/guided-search.aspx) for school searches. Be sure to narrow your search under the “Add more schools” function on the second or third page.

I used the wrong word…it should be “add more options” not “add more schools” :(.

school consultant (depending on where you live) but i’m from the south and knew nothing about NE BS so that was a HUGE help for me!
