any suggestion for me?

I got into Tabor, Suffirld, Berkshire and Williston.
They are almost the same in many aspects, so it's so hard to make a choice among them. Any suggestion?

Go to revisits for the school and talk to current students if you can.

Congratulations! :) I don't think I've seen you much on this board. I'm Olivia. :D

Try to go to all 4 revisits. While they might seem similar on stats, they are probably very different in personality and special offerings. I think Tabor is known for sailing while Berkshire has an outdoors/nature focus (I think). Think about what your life would be like at each school. Look through the course of studies and investigate fun weekend activites, ec's, etc. Congratulations!

But I live far away from MA, so I don't have the chance to revisit them!

If it is at all possible, you should try to revisit. Boarding school will become your home away from home, so it is important that you like your new home.

If it is completely impossible, then you need to look at all the information available on their websites. You can ask for the names of students for you to talk or im with.

I can't emphasize re visits enough. My older son completely changed his mind when he re visited.

You guys all really want me to do the revisits so much! Curse being international.. :(

Lemonkins, are you tyrus? :o

I'd probably go to Tabor if I didn't have the chance to visit the schools.

Hi Tyrus, I sent you a pm (maybe twice). Congrats on your choices!

hey tyrus! I would suggest doing the revisit i think it will really help in your decision making process. I got into berkshire as well i know its a great school i'm doing the revisit there. are you international? what grade are you entering in?

Olivia: nahhh, I was just butting in on a conversation... XD

Thank you so much,jg0339!

I am international, I will enter Grade9

awesum i'm international as well but entering 11th grade. where are you from?

I come from Asia

tyrus, it would be best to revisit. Burbparent make's a good point, this is your home away from home and as drnancie notes, you may change your perspective with the revisit. imo, it's imperative you revisit. Good luck

Hi Tyrus, have you visited these schools at least once? Did you get a tour and interview? If so, try to remember your visits. What does your gut tell you? Did you get a much stronger, positive impression from one school than the others? You can always contact the admissions offices to get the names of kids to contact, to ask about their positive and negative experiences. Also, you can pm me if I can be of help. ~ take care ~

Thank you~ ~

Tyrus, tell us what you think once you're done! :)
