<p>Hey guys! I got rejected from RSI and couple of other programs I had applied to. I have a safety but I did it last summer too and don't want to repeat. Are there any good research summer programs that I can still apply to? I guess I'm interested in applying to just any good summer program left. Its pretty late and most application dates are over...thanks guys!</p>
<p>I don’t think there are any more. Many deadlines were in January or February; HSHSP’s application was due last Friday.</p>
<p>Probably the best thing you could do is to contact local possible mentors for research (colleges, research department of hospital, etc). You may not get paid, but it won’t cost you anything either. This is a good plan as well as you will be able to establish a long term relationship, turning that research into something meaningful, as well, getting good college recommendations.</p>
