Any students going to Georgia Perimeter or Georgia Southern? I need your opinion on RETP.

If you are currently attending Georgia Perimeter or Georgia Southern, what are your thoughts on either school? Im trying to decide between the two because I want to do the Regents Engineering Transfer Program. There is a Georgia Perimeter campus close to my house so I can easily commute and it would be quite cheap to attend but I feel like I will be missing some of the college experience by going to a community college for two years. GPC will also be cheaper but I don’t know if Ill be missing much by going to GPC over Georgia Southern.

My other plan is to just go to UGA and study computer science at UGA instead of computer engineering at Georgia Tech.

Do any of you have any opinions on either school? Thanks!

I would do CS at UGA > GAPerimeter Regents Engineering Transfer/GT > Georgia Southern. There’s a reason onl 20% GA Southern students graduate in 4 years despite respectable stats. There’s also the advantage of location for both UGA (college town) and GPC (Atlanta) over GSu (mosquito line).
