Any Suggestion, plz

i'm a 2nd year transfer student and i have been admitted to Cal poly Pomona as a Landscape Architecture. I also have been admitted to Kansas State University in Architecture program as well. The problem is i can't make the decision on which school should i go, or which one is better than the other in the way of academic system. the environment also a big different.

i lived in Riverside area, California which is pretty close to Cal poly, but the thing is i got accepted in Landscape aRch instead of Architecture program. there's some suggestion that i can go there for another 2 years and graduate with my landscape arch B.S. then get a M.S in Architecture for another 2 -3 years. is that true? is all Architecture program, it's 5 years program?

CAl poly accepted me as "Conditional" tho.

For, KSU the only thing is all transfer student have to be enroll in first year not the 2nd or 3rd year. 7 yrs for B.S is that's good idea?

i known that LAnscape ARch, and Architecture there is the big different between the two. Since i couldn't make any decision so far, plz if anyone has any suggestion

According to the NAAB website, Kansas State BARCH is being phased out and is only accredited until December 2011. Not sure how accurate that info is, but you might want to check it out.

Isn't the KSU program just transitioning from a 5 yr BArch to a 5 yr MArch? Anyone?

OP, You're close to Poly so go visit and see the difference between Arch and LArch. That may make the decision for you.

You should also talk to folks at KSU, yes you'll be a first year arch student but probably with most of your core and non-arch electives already covered, see what they think that will mean for you.

One other thing, Kansas sure ain't Pomona... (Not that that's a bad thing :D)
