Any Suggestions on What I Should Major in to Help People in the Sudan?

I am currently in my first semester of college working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education, but the more I think about it, the more unsure I am about being a teacher. I want to help people in Sudan; that is basically the only thing that I am positive about, but there are so many things that the people in that country need and I am having a difficult time deciding exactly what I want to do and what I want my major to be. If you have any ideas or suggestions whatsoever, I am wide open.

I would first ask myself, do I want to commit my entire life to a specific cause and will I feel the same about it ten years from now that I feel about it now.

If you are committed to this, then I would suggest something in the sciences, or logistics. ECE I’m sure is fine - but I think they would most likely need infrastructure more than anything else.

Perhaps, something in health care (e.g., nursing) or in agriculture
