<p>My son was just accepted ED1 (what a relief). Any tips on life at Gettysburg, particularly for a freshman?</p>
<p>*Take as many courses in diverse topics as possible.
*Get involved with the center for public service.
*Go skiing at Ski Liberty if/when you get the chance.
*Take a ghost tour or two.
*Start making plans for the summer after freshman year early (scanning the internet, talking to profs about December/January).</p>
