Any tips for writing research papers???

<p>I have a 10 page research paper which is due in less than 4 weeks. My teacher wants us to write about how an author (Philip k dick in my case) uses landscapes and story settings to convey the themes of his works. </p>

<p>It's gonna be tough since i take a lot of time to write papers. I've finished one of his novels and started on a couple more but He doesn't really write a lot about landscapes and settings in his works...</p>

<p>Any general tips for writing research papers before??? Or better yet anyone know a lot about Philip k dick?</p>

<p>Either way, are you allowed to change your topic or is it the same for everyone?</p>

<p>No I mean like literal landscapes…how the author uses landscapes to describe the overall themes and moods of the story. The topic is same for eveyone, just with differet authors.</p>
