Ok Im working on the stupid senior research paper in english. My topic is "Social Satire in Charles Dickens Novels and Poems".... I was just wondering if anyone knew of some good sites or books that I could use(I dont have time to read any of Dickens actual books).

Try searching the Duke database for articles; they have a ton of them.

google it. that always works.

I already googled and sifted through hundreds of sites of which i think about 6 will be uselful... the paper requires that you list at least 12 sources and use at least 7

It's very odd that you're writing a high school english research paper on material that you haven't read.

Anyway, go to your library and check out the reference section for critical discussions of the works (Harold Bloom's books are commonly used).

well google it again and find another 6. the research paper i had to do in high school required us to list at least 50 sources and use at least 25, so i'd say you have it pretty easy.. although like the above poster, i dont see why youre writing a paper on something you haven't read (and have no intention of doing so).

one thing that helped me in high school was the library. go there and look in the reference section.. there are huge books full of papers/articles/discussions on literary works. I don't remember what they're called, but there's a whole section of them in my library.
