<p>Search for parents weekend and graduation threads of years past. As crazy as this sounds, many will already have lots of stuff booked up. Many parents book rooms as soon as the hotel allows it one year out</p>
<p>and “reasonable priced” pretty much doesn’t exist for that weekend. It’s more like what is less overpriced. There is huge price inflation for that weekend.</p>
<p>if you will have a car, i would recommend motel 6 either in seekonk or warwick. they might be booked already, but you can check. each one is only about 10 minutes by car, inexpensive, clean, and perfectly fine. we stayed in warwick’s motel 6 each time we went to providence for four years and liked it very much.</p>
<p>Another option: You can stay in the dorms. [Residential</a> Life: Commencement and Reunion Housing](<a href=“http://reslife.brown.edu/commencement/index.html]Residential”>http://reslife.brown.edu/commencement/index.html)
Alums there for reunions tend to favor this as they get to “relive” Brown more, but a number of parent/family groups do this too. The cost is a bit high for just a spartan room and linens (if you have been there to move in your student, then you know what it looks like!) Usually reasonably clean. (and no bed bug fears) Since your senior is going to be packing up, unlike the alums you likely will have access from them to better pillows, extra towels or blanket, maybe a bathrobe without having to bring it, if you need it. (remember that bathrooms are shared down the hall.) And the dorms tend to be much quieter during commencement than other times you may have been around Brown. The biggest advantage is the convenience! No car needed really, and more important no parking hassle, walk back to your dorm room for a nap, change clothes, whatever. If you can’t do stairs, make sure you request re that.
Because they don’t take reservations until later in the Spring, you might still want to get a cancellable reservation somewhere else if you are uncertain.</p>
<p>There is a Wyndham Garden a couple of miles from campus. I go by it often, and it looks very well maintained and it is conveniently located: [Wyndham</a> Garden Providence | Providence, RI *02903 Hotel](<a href=“Search Hotel Room Rates And Book | Wyndham Hotels & Resorts”>Search Hotel Room Rates And Book | Wyndham Hotels & Resorts)</p>
<p>If that is booked and you don’t mind an easy 20 minute drive, try these two hotels (both just off I95):</p>

<p>Concerning restaurant options, what is your budget and taste? Providence has very good restaurants, so if you can provide a bit more information, I can steer you well.</p>
