I'm freaking out am little here...I am not looking forward to april when I'll receive the decision letter. Does anyone have advice on how to handle this two and half months?

Think about something else.

^^^^touche

Focus on keeping up grades in school and doing other stuff that you find fun/chilling with friends/etc.

self-induced coma?

pancuronium bromide

If you’re done with midyear grades, then just have fun. I’m looking forward to January 26th!

I’m nervous too =/ but I just think about how I’ve done everything I can to get in hopefully and that’s all anyone could ask for…

eat more yoghurt

funnnnnnnn!

For me its full steam ahead until finals are over (next Friday). After that its SMOOOOOTH SAILING!

Here’s my advice

1) once mid-terms are over, just enjoy the freedom of being a second semester seniopr, but still keeping up your grades and just enjoying your classes and your last couple of months at your old high school.

2) Focus on your extracurriculars and have fun with those too!

3) In the end, college is just college. Sure Penn is a wonderul and awesome school (I Applied myself, and would love to get in) but in the end, its just another college. Every college generally has the same types of classes, the same types of teachers, the same benefitis, the same problems, the same types of people, the same types of benefits and the same types of activities. The college experience comes down to what you make of it, so don’t worry if you don’t get in, you’ll be sure to have an awesome time somewhere else. Don’t worrry, know you did everything you could, and if you get in it’s awesome! But If you don’t, don’t worry about it too much.
Plus, in the end, employers care more about which Grad school you went to rather than which undergrad :)

aaw, thankyou guys so much for all the comfort! Really sweet of you all! I’ll do my best to relax and just have fun and enjoy my last term in high school. Good luck to all of you who have applied!

enjoy senior year. seriously. I’m not looking forward to it either, but think of it this way: This is your last year with a ton of the people you go to high school with. for me, none of my friends are going east coast. they’re all going to the u of oregon or osu so i know i won’t see them for a while and you know those kids that you know, and you’re sort of friends with but not outside of school? you probably won’t see them for a long time, so enjoy yourself, keep your grades up and get out more. have fun!
