Yeah, I'm wondering if ILR apps saw an increase too...even though I'm a transfer applicant so I don't know if it really effects me...

the schools that are ranked in the top five, such as hotel, engineering, and architecture probably recieve an increase in apps every year. this is cornell's fourth year in a row to be ranked first for its arch school so it wouldn't be surprising to see an increase

justinhui: thats not the primary reason.. its caus we're the baby boomlets

dont forget, the ILR is #1 ... with the other ILR schools far far behind.

Justin - where are the architecture school ratings? I figured cornell was first, but i've never actually seen the ratings. Please share!

But not just baby boomlets, baby boomlets with the intent on studying at the #1 school for architecture...

Yeah gomestar!! ILR rocks :)

gomestar:
This information is availble in Design Intelligence publication. This is a well known indepdent publication that puts out rankings on Arch schools - Below is the information from 2005 rankings

school 2005 2004 2003 2002 .....
Cornell 1 2 4 1 1 1
univ of cincinatti 2 1 3 3...
rice 3 4 10 -
cal poly 4 3 2
syracuse 5 4 2

and the list goes on.....

cool! i remember that popping up in a google search, but i think it wanted money. I'm a Cornell student, so i dont have any money.

gomestar: Yes, it is about $19.00. Someone on the discussion forum at design intelligence said it was worth, so I bought it. There some more information about rankings by regions, rankings for graduate schools, rankings for landscape design schools, salary ranges.... etc...
