Has anyone heard back from UCONN about scholarship info or financial aid?

My son received a letter on Sat. that he was awarded the Presidential Scholarship but we have not received any other financial aid information. The Admissions office told me today all finalists for the Nutmeg and Day of Pride Scholarships have been notified by phone if they have been invited for an interview.

Oh. Well I won’t be considered for any of those scholarships since I will be a transfer student. I should have clarified that. =P

But congratulations to him!

When I got my acceptance package in the mail, I received 2 letters: One was a congratulations letter and the other was one telling me I received a scholarship.

UConn also awards merit and entry into the honors program in May as well, it happened to several of my son’s friends last year. When students decline to atttend who have been awarded those benefits, then they move to those who have been accepted. If you are borderline, you may still have a chance!

I never received a “package.” It was more of an envelope with the acceptance letter. Following that up, a letter came in about the email setup and what not.

Maybe I’ll call them and ask.
