yeah, mail can take forever too for overseas.

Thanks ungst for your reply.
The weird thing is that I put in all my recs, reports and any other documents which are accepted together in an envelope.
Which means if they have received the other documents, they must have received my recs too.

Anyone with the same situation as mine??????
Any suggestions? Is it probable that Princeton might be sorting out the documents yet?

Could anyone please reply me!!!!!!!
Thanks a lot.

yeah, it's quite possible...i had the same situation with another school...everything was sent online, on the same date (haha all through commonapp!), but they processed the forms separately and so there was a few days' lag in between...don't worry until next week or so. but call if you feel so obligated; it's not going to hurt your app or anything.

hey, zel17 thanks for your reply, I have just e-mailed Princeton but haven't received any reply yet.

Anymore opinion?

Anyway, just to ask whether there is a deadline for me to send in those documents? When will the admissions start to read the applications?
Thanks!

my interviewer recommended that i send in a couple of additional letters of rec, and he said that if they didn't get in by the end of the month, it wasn't really worth it...so i would guess then--2/28. good luck; hope everything works out for you!

hey,thanks again zel17.

Have you heard anyone in my situation also?OR
The students in USA have got everything alright?

zel, does yours still show that your app is incomplete but have nothing under the missing item? I was wondering if I should send them an email about that or something.

nct3--yeah, mine's still the same...i was going to check with my school today to see when they sent the midyear, but alas, school was cancelled due to excellent snow...so i'm going to check tomorrow...but if it was sent more than a week ago, i'm going to call/email...let me know if you figure anything out!

but yeah, i'm guessing midyear's the prob? idk.

cameliasinensis, i have the exact same problem!! ive called/emailed princeton several times about it and they keep telling me that if i enter the email and pin on my app, it will work, but it doesnt! i was deferred ED, but they told me countless times that my app was complete...do you think we should call/email, or have you fixed the problem yet?

I don't really think that Princeton will reply our emails by now.
I have sent 2 but still haven't get any reply.
They might be very busy now!

In order for the application to be considered complete do they have to have the midyear report?

Actually shouldn't we be waiting for Princeton to tell us what is missing before sending in those missing documents?
I am not quite sure about it.
We received emails like below before right?

"Princeton University has received your application and opened a file for you. Once we have opened and logged in all of the mail, if any required forms are missing, we will send you a note to let you know what is missing. When we have received all of the required forms, we will notify you that your application is complete."

Well I just sent my Mid Year reports a few minutes back and I received notification that my Application was complete two weeks back. Go figure!

no.. they do not require the mid year report IMO..

btw- IMO is not the International Math Olympiad in this context...lol

i can't figure out what imo is? seriously

In my opinion :D

Yea, when in doubt, check urbandictionary.com.
