i kind of want to get out of cali, i just want to branch out i guess. it took about a month after i applied to say accepted online. Maybe it was a little longer now that i think about it, but i wasnt checking it religiously. after i checked, it was about a week until i got the letter in the mail, but once again, i have no idea how long it said "accepted" on asurite.

A day after my application said "complete" I went on to asurite and it said "accepted". It took about 2 weeks total after I sent my transcript. However, it's taking quite a while for me to get my acceptance letter. I found out on November 4th that I got accepted, yet I still have not received my letter.

Ok so its been a week since my app has said "complete" and still nothing. Admissions told me it could take up to two weeks to change to accepted, but it seemed like everyones changed the next day. Im getting so frustrated!

Hey everyone, I applied 10/23 and just got admitted yesterday. :)

i applied to ASU in mid September. The ASU rite thing said my application has been complete since the beginning of October. I called the admissions dept. the other day and they said i didnt meet requirements for admission so im being reviewed by a dean for admission. I am freaking out and ASU is my top choice by far. I have a 21 ACT a 1050 SAT..530 critical reading..520 Math. and a 78 GPA. I want to go here so bad an im worried about getting in.

what do you guys think?

I got my acceptance letter in the mail today (2 weeks after I found out online that I got accepted). Now it's time to wait for a letter about a scholarship.

congratssssss

I've got a question for those who got in. When I log into MyASU and look at the area where you click on admission status, transcripts, etc., there is a link next to my stated degree program that says, "My Unmet Degree Requirements." When I click on it, a new window pops up that keeps refreshing but never loads anything. Do others have the same thing and does that happen to you if you click on it?

VJH86: The same thing happens for me.

Still waiting......

VJH86 Don't worry about the unmet degree requirements link. I went to meet with an academic advisor and they said that the information within that link is incomprehensible and it is never right because I had the sam problem. You should click on the link underneath it that says degree audit ( DARS) it will show you what classes you need to take in order to meet college requirements, general requirements and major requirements in order to graduate. I hope that was of some help

Eventually that link will work for you but the information it has doesnt make much sense. =)

Thanks DegreeHunter!

I'm in with the $34,000 scholarship over 4 years (8500 per), but is my second choice to Wisconsin because ASU is not exactly academically prestigious. With 60K plus students, I think grad. schools and employers kind of see this as "who doesn't have a degree from ASU?" I will live in Phoenix when I'm out of school, but since I want to try grad. school at MIT or DTU in Denmark, I want a degree from a better academic school.

Do you mind sharing your GPA and scores to land the $34K scholarship at ASU? That's what my daughter received at U of A but so much less at ASU. Just trying to figure that out.
Thanks and good luck with your decision.

29 ACT (reading score brought me down, otherwise it should have been 32-33)
3.98 unweighted, 4.00 weighted (my school only allows a max of 4, no 4.33 etc)

My son got 36K (9K per year) from ASU. He got president scholarship. GPA is over 4.5 and SAT is 2180.

^^^^^^^

I thought your GPA can't be over a 4.0 for scholarships since they take your unweighted GPA for only 4 math classes, 4 engligh, 3 science, 2 spanish, and an art class.

I just received a letter from ASU saying that they have received my application, it also states Nover 13th on the top of the letter. Does the acceptance usually come through mail (mailbox) or online (where I have to go check on their website)? Oh by the way I'm an international student would that mean it would take longer?... I can't wait...

i applied at the end of november and got my acceptance letter last week, so i think it takes about 2-3 weeks to process it. i got the president's scholarship.. anybody know what kind of scholarships are available for UA?

I think the top for instate at UA is 8500 per year. Maybe more for NMF. I know UA was much more generous than ASU. I think it's because UA looks at more than just numbers.
