Anybody got a phone call from MIT for EA ?

not matched.
but I got a phone call from MIT admission officer yesterday to apply for EA.
Also, I got an email.
Is it a good news ?
or everyond who ranked MIT got same call from MIT directely?

I also wasn’t matched but received both the email and phone call from MIT last night. I would imagine the email might be more often received but I too was wondering about the phone call. Either way, it was very nice to hear from them and encouraging. I’ll be applying ED to MIT. Best of luck to you!

Just wondering, but was the phone call received to home phone or cell phone? I also received an email last night, but did not receive a call. Does that mean I have less of a chance? or was it simply by random?

I didn’t get a phone call, although perhaps that’s because no one picked up and they didn’t leave a message. I got an email though.

It’s my cell phone.

Did the questbridge staffer call you- Jamilla Jamison?

Hopefully the lack of a phone call isn’t a bad sign; maybe they didn’t find it necessary because I’ve been communicating a lot through email. Or maybe they have yet to call.

Did the MIT number come up as Private?

Our MIT phone call came to our home phone. I forgot to check if number came up as listed or not (we were gone and only received the message). We did not receive any phone calls from Questbridge but did receive the general QB email saying we weren’t matched. I called and left a message on the admission officer’s voice mail saying thanks and that I’d definitely be applying ED to MIT.

It doesn’t appear there is anything else we need to submit except for the short additional form MIT linked to in their email. Is that what the rest of you understood as well?
