<p>I spent all of one week on Facebook back in 2008 or so and quit. Too much social drama and nonsense, and it’s a huge privacy hole. I was a longtime MSN user and quit that too this year.</p>
<p>I love my cellphone, Skype, Gmail/Gtalk.</p>
<p>You’ll find that when you graduate and all your friends scatter every which way to start their new lives Facebook won’t be much social glue.</p>
<p>I discovered my close friends took the time to call me anyway and we regularly chat (or email where the 8 hour timezone difference makes it difficult). </p>
