<p>I called the admissions office yesterday, and they said that they still had thousands of transfer applications to evaluate, so we may be waiting for awhile unfortunately.</p>
<p>my boyfriend is still pending. he has a 3.2 and applied as a poli sci major.</p>
<p>Does anyone know if they evaluate the transfers in any particular order?!?! (Last name first, major, etc).</p>

<p>I’m not sure, I applied to the UCs the night before the deadline so maybe they evaluate in order they received the applications? This is just my speculation however.</p>
<p>There doesn’t seem to be any system to it. I know people who have been accepted from nearby ccs with different majors, and last names from ‘a’ to ‘w’.</p>

<p>Well… At least now i know im not the only one. I am going to Admissions this Monday because when I tried calling they did not pick up.</p>

<p>I got in with a 3.092 gpa as pre economics with TAG on March 10th (was notified by email)</p>

<p>Actually it might not have been exactly on march 10th but its when I received an email saying I had an admissions update. I didn’t check the ucsb admissions site till much later to find out their decision though.</p>
