I have some work experience
I've done a lot volunteer work (100 hours)
In the national honor society

I want to major in chemical engineering, anybody recommend good engineering schools for me besides top schools like Berkeley, UCLA, or UCSD?

Actually, I just responded to Pliskin01 who had a similar question.

As I pointed out to him, some of the top Chemical Engineering schools in the country (where one can usually have a okay to good shot at getting in) are:

Carnegie-Mellon
Georgia Tech
University of Florida
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
Wisconsin
Michigan
Minnesota
North Carolina St.
Univ of California, Santa Barbara
Purdue
Bucknell
Virginia Tech
Illinois
Lafayette
Texas A&M

Other very tough schools to get into, but with great Chemical Engineering programs:
Northwestern
Stanford
Caltech
MIT
Univ of Calif Berkeley
Princeton
Cooper Union
Washington University in Saint Louis

Conatact the Academy and have them set you up with a Blue and Gold Officer (BGO) in your area to talk with. They might pay to send you to Prep School for a year if they think you have high potential.
