Anybody seen 311 lately???

I'm just curious if anybody has been able to catch the 311, Wailers, Pepper show? They just launched a tour and I'm headed to see them Thursday night... has anybody seen the show yet? It's only been in some Cal/NV cities so far...

If so, what was the playlist like? Did they keep a lot of their old classic stuff on the list? I love classic 311... I live for it!

hahaha....i thought this thread was about you...like someone else was asking where you went....ok...sry i know its stupid...but i have a headache....

hahaha... that is funny!! I didn't think of that.

im seeing Muse next Friday!

cool....whoa...untilted, i always thought your sn was untitled...until now..cuz i read it properly

311griff perhaps you can answer me this: ive always wondered, why is the band called "311"? the number 311 has been affiliated with the KKK in the past (3 of the 11th number in the alphabet is "kkk"). what's the deal???

It has nothing to do with the KKK... I think that's going a little too deep (you know doing all the math crap with the alphabet, etc.).... 311 is all about UNITY, and that all people are valuable and equal... they sing a lot of songs that include lyrics that debunk small minded thinking like racism and the like...

From what I understand, 311 is the Omaha (the band's origin) police code for indecent exposure. One of the band's friends/former members was arrested once while skinny dipping and the code on his ticket was 311--indecent exposure... I believe that's the origin of the band's name.

I love me some 311 day...when we all get together, listen to 311 and smoke pot

Hells yeah Ferst... you're my type a homie! "Who's got the herb?"
