anyone accepted/rejected to TCNJ?

Tally,

It is a very upsetting situation at TCNJ but I don't believe that fear is prevalent on campus. Something of this type is a rarity for TCNJ. It is most upsetting because the missing student was so well liked and there is no one who believes any other student would do him harm. It is very possible that an unfortunate accident may have occurred but there are too many unknowns at this point.

TV stations and news outlets query tens of students and when they get the perfect soundbite about being fearful on campus, they run with that one. How do I know that? I have two kids on campus ~ one is a daughter who resides in the Wolfe Tower where the missing student resided. Security has been increased at the dorms to restrict the news media, some of whom have been dressing as students to gain admittance to the dormitories to get the "real story". Those tactics are absolutely disgusting.

Our son is at TCNJ also....
He lived in Wolfe last year as a freshman.

This situation is so upsetting. The 'tactics' of the news media reported above make it so much worse.
My heart is with the family.

Musicmom, I am so sorry such a great school is enduring this gruesome and tragic event.
But, there are so many unanswered questions, that it causes speculation.

I noticed there is a $2,000 award for any leads.
I am not a CSI watcher, but two people have mentioned that recently there was a CSI episode with a similar plotline involving a garbage chute.

It is inconceivable that other students are involved and I'm curious what the students at thinking and saying .....................

yeah, John went to my high school (clearview) and everyone around here is sort of on edge, even though I know so many people planning to attend TCNJ (TCNJ is a magnet for clearview kids)

yeah, me.
they are such a meanie

Any update on the fate of this young man? It sure has colored my desire to attend next week's open house. (On an entirely separate note, is TCNJ listed under the alphabetical college section of this board? I cannot find it.)

I've been following the story of the missing TCNJ student from the very beginning (with concern and anxiety, as I am going to attend the school in the fall), but recently, they haven't given the public any updates. It seems to me that they are still searching the landfills, but because they haven't found anything, there's nothing for the press to report. We all hope for the best, although at this point it's hard to believe that he is still alive. To answer your other question, no, TCNJ does not have its own forum on CC.

Awhile back someone was trying to get TCNJ its own forum. Never quite happened though.

I was the one trying to get TCNJ its own forum listing.
I've 'spoken' to a moderator a few times and he is in agreement to make a forum for TCNJ under the school listing. There have been some 'technical glitches' that need to be resolved before it can be added. If I don't hear for awhile, I will ask again for us!

Yes! TCNJ finally has its own forum on CC! Hopefully it'll become a good source of helpful information about the college! (it's listed under the letter "N", which suprised me a little, but I don't mind as long as it's here! :) )

nice! well done, musicmom! though the letter 'n' is a bit random. and a bit hard to find? but then again, what else would u put it under? T? or C? whatever

it's about time TCNJ gets its own forum

That is super awesome!
"N?" The letter is random, but people should come across it. Eventually the word will get out. Nice work!

N, huh?
I just got back into town and see that there's a TCNJ forum for us all now.....but N?

mmmm....I guess it's as good as T or C would be!
Let's just enjoy it!
