This is my fourth semester here (2nd year), transferring for next year. Basically, I just wanted to get through the last two years as quickly as possible. I did go through a little bit of depression too because all my friends left the Bay Area for their colleges and I had literally nothing to do except go to school with the pressure of "I need to work super hard to get into Berkeley/UCLA and I will be happy."

I enjoyed/am enjoying my time at De Anza. All my friends left too, and many even looked down on me for going to a CCC, but I met so many cool new people.

I actually really enjoy Fullerton College. The professors are great, and I’ve met some pretty cool people. Even though I felt the pressure of getting out of CCC, there are others who were in the same situation. I can honestly say that I don’t regret going to a CCC.

Haha I live literally a block from Fullerton College but I go to OCC. The majority of my friends are from up in this area though. The first year at my CC, I didn’t want to talk to anyone because I was older and had already been to a “real” 4-yr college for a year. So dumb but I got over that really quick and over the last three years, I’ve met some of my best friends at school Honestly, I think it pays off to be friendly and studying with friends at my CC has improved my grades immensely.

LOVED my time at my CCC. I did my best to make the most out of my situation and I am about to leave a legacy.

NO- IT TOTALLY SUCKED :)

Haha, actually- I took every single class online except for Geology, Spanish II and Finite Math. And that’s only because they didn’t offer those three online. This is the only semester I’ve been in a real classroom and it completely and utterly blows. 75% of the people at my CCC couldn’t possibly care less and I’m not someone who likes to sit in the front of the class but I’ve found myself doing that in every class just to learn. I can’t wait to go to a school where people actually 1. care if they pass the class and 2. I can take classes pertaining to my major!!!

^Lmao!
But yea, I didn’t mind it. I did really well in hs, but for financial reasons I went to CC & can’t say I regret it. It saved me (or I should say my dad) a lot of $$$. Had 1 great professor, some good, most whatevs. It’s definitely not for everybody because I feel some people get lost in CC and don’t get proper counseling on transfering. Overall, I met some cool people & learned a few things ;)

Sacramento City College and the entire Los Rios District constitutes trivial Hell in my opinion. UCLA here I come!
