<p>Did anyone apply "first look" to Quinnipiac?
It seems like an "early action" plan to me, but doesn't give a firm date when we will hear back. With Hurricane Sandy the deadline was extended to Dec. 1st so I'm assuming it will be mid Jan. before we get a response?</p>

<p>Yes, I applied to first look on Quinnipiac and received an email a few days ago telling me that my application is in review. I hope we hear back from them soon! The email specified that we would hear back from them in December through January, but on the other forum a mother stated her daughter had already been accepted. Hopefully we don’t have to wake too long!</p>

<p>I applied to the School of Health and Sciences– so nervous! I know my SATs aren’t so high (1280 :/) and I don’t think my grades are too high either. But I love the school so much and can’t see myself going anywhere else!!! </p>

<p>is your 1280 out of 1600 or 2400? I applied in August and haven’t heard yet so I’m doubting my acceptance at this point.</p>
<p>Don’t lose faith, Nick! Hopefully they’re just taking awhile to send out everyone’s letters, be it acceptance or rejection. I think we have the slight advantage considering we applied early although you applied much, much earlier than I did. I’m sure you’ll hear good news soon!</p>
<p>And unfortunately it was 1280/2400. I’m just not a good test taker, but I hope that they don’t dwell too much on my SATs scores and consider everything else as well.</p>
<p>I actually just emailed the admissions counselor and they told me that the decision has already been made and I would be hearing at the beginning of January. Maybe you should email them as well, Nick!</p>

<p>Okay, I received my acceptance letter yesterday!! I was accepted to the College of Arts and Sciences! 
SO STOKED!!! I absolutely cannot wait!!!</p>
