Am I the only one in here ??

My son is currently employed and living in Qatar as a college graduate. Are you from that region or are you considering applying to the school as an American citizen? I would advice that you know what you are getting yourself into before doing this. My son will be there for a two year contract and there are times that I could tell he wished the two years were up.

For any young healthy American male or female you need to know what is appropriate behavior and what isn’t if you decide to go ahead with applying to Qatar. Also, read about the pros and cons of applying to a med school that is out of the country. You should really give this more consideration.

Thanx for your advice.

But yes I do live in the region (( UAE )), infact , I was born in the region (( but wasn’t allowed to become a national , it’s not like the US ))
so I know all about the Culture and the customs and life and all that , and yes also I have done alot of reading about the pros and cons of going to study medicine in that part of the world especially in Cornell Qatar.

And No, I’m not American .

But really thanx anyway (:

hey… i realize it’s 2014 now and your post was in 2011 LOL… Anyhow I just wanted to know did you after all get into Cornell Qatar? Do you like it? I am from the UAE and I’m considering studying medicine in Cornell Qatar.
Thanks in advance,
