Just got email for interview…wondering why they are saying that I still must accept the Honor’s College before I interview? Haven’t received letters or emails regarding ANY acceptance…VCU or Honor’s hmmmmm…

I got the email today… is it okay if we didn’t accept the honors college admission yet? On the letter I got it said you need to accept within 3 weeks (it’s been more than 3 weeks now), but on the interview email it says just accept it before the interview. Any help?

I got rejected. LOL! I rejected UAB EMSAP, SBU/GWU interviews. I have 4 more interviews. Everyone accepts me except for VCU. I am speechless.

Got an interview!

What are everyone’s preferred dates?

I also have the exact same question as bsmd11!

@BaconMan - That’s weird…give them a call!

^Oh, nevermind. The date on my letter was actually December 20, which is when they mailed it out (so i assume). I live on the other side of the country, so I got it like a week later. So, it’s still under 3 weeks for me.

That said, the email that i got said that if you haven’t accepted yet, do it before the interview. So I guess you shouldn’t worry about the 3 week thing. G’luck!

Honors letter was in the mailbox from yesterday afternoon, must have missed the mail man. Says you have to go to the honors website to accept the non-binding acceptance letter, unfortunately it says on the site you have to login with e-ID number…unfortunately the Honors letter doesn’t have the required V# needed to log in. Guess I will wait patiently for the regular VCU letter and then if it doesn’t come email Honors…pretty happy about the interview, takes a load off.

^Yeah, you’re gonna need the V# to accept the offer. It’s interesting how you got the honors letter before the regular one… for me, it was the opposite.

Does anyone know how many people are ACCEPTED into the program?

last year, it says that 34 people were accepted into the GMED program and about 25ish actually ended up going there

^Where’d you get that data?

C’mon now! Where’d you all go?

Did anyone interview yesterday (Jan 25)? How did it go?

Did anyone get that e-mail about “A Special Day with the VCU Honors College.”

Is that just for accepted students or is that for the general applicant pool?

^Nah, didn’t get that, but I’ve been accepted to the honors college already. The interview went very well!

@bs/md11

You already had yours?

Was it relaxed?

So like, I don’t know if it was mentioned, but how many people were interviewed? And how many will be accepted?

My interview went pretty well :D

and when i went to VCU for the tour and such, they told me that about 25 (or 26) actually ended up choosing vcu gmed for its program.

I got the presidential scholarship in the mail today! Does this mean anything towards the GMED? I mean, previous posts in other threads have indicated that your chances are good for GMED if you get the presidential scholarship. Any opinions on this?
