Anyone auditioning for Rutgers in NYC? The reason I'm asking is, there was a mixup with scheduling my son's audition because they haven't received the check we sent. Finally they said, "Just bring a check with you" and gave him an audition time, but we haven't been sent the usual detailed e-mail about audition procedures. Was there anything important there? I don't care about the "make sure you've read the whole play" stuff, just anything one might not guess.

I don’t know if they do something different in NY than on campus but I just checked the one for on campus and it did not have any info other than time slot and directions to get there.

Last year my daughter didn’t receive any special info other than the time of her appointment and the time the the afternoon callback would take place. When we got to the studio, there was no indication that we were in the right place, no proctor outside the room. We asked the others waiting in chairs lined up along the hallway, which is how we determined it was the right place. It was different from the NYU or CMU auditions, where everyone waited together in a large room.

Thanks, that tells me what I need to know. Some of these schools require you to block out four hours, check in an hour ahead, etc. etc.
