Anyone can get a 2400. I proved it.

On some level, I’m fairly certain Appli is just looking for people to jump on his throat.

I know how you feel though- I continually make just one or two careless mistakes.

damn…why are you guys are being so hard on him… a 2380 is still very impressive

congrats on your 2380 and thanks for writing this post.

^AGREED!
10char

Congrats on the 2380 and thanks for some inspiration!

BUt seriously, crazypluto. That’s an amazing score. I heard the October score curve was intense. So I 100% congratulate you. My last post wasn’t to sound mean, I genuinely congrats on you and best of luckk ! :D

I think crazypluto was just trying to motivate other people :stuck_out_tongue:
congratulations
any more specific tips about the steps you took to improve your skores? :)

I don’t understand why you guys are being so vicious. A 2380 is TWENTY points away from a 2400, and it could mean 1 missed question on math. ONE. So seriously, stop being such losers, and leave the OP alone. He/she is only trying to help. Jesus.

heck im just gonna retake my SAT once im in college and get that 2400 lol… only have 2000 in bank now not gonna take again…

and i’d rather get a 2380 than a 2400 because u seem more normal that way.

Pluto, I think you deserve congrats too, and I don’t think 23++ is so different from a 2400, and certainly not in the eyes of admissions.

But I am not sure it is any more “harsh” to make a big deal out of your score NOT being a 2400, than it is to imply that the fact that more than 99 percent of the population doesn’t get a 2400, is because they are doing something wrong. You also imply that folks with your scores in 9th grade “without studying” are …not special.

But then, I’m a mom.

Congrats CrazyPluto!

But no, not anyone can get a 2400. Consider yourself smart, and stop being so humble. :)

Stop freaking out guys…he did very good…I need to get motivated for November. Lets go!

yall mad cuz u cant get 2380 , hahahaha

Congrats Crazpluto!!

Could you mind telling us your study plan? Which books did you use? What kind of 40+ tests you do?

Wow this thread really makes me want to retake so badly. I’m a senior, got a 2280 on the october test, all because of a bunch of stupid math mistakes. Could have easily gotten a 2350. But oh well, I think its a bit too late to retake.

I got a 2400 in my dreams. But that means I still got it

hahahahaha. typical college confidential people being bitter. To whoever said “2380 is far from 2400.” No. Go away.

Hey CrazyPluto, first of all, congratulations! I had a few questions if you don’t mind.

Well, What books did you use for the practice tests? Also, what books concerning literature, history, or government do you feel helped you best? Did you just use any regular math puzzles or were there any particular ones that may have helped you?

I am asking because I need to learn to keep my mind occupied during school, for I often finish my work early and sit vacantly, doing nothing.

Anyway, thank you!

OP: out of curiosity did you take SAT prep classes?

Congrats. You earned it.

And for the record: 2380 is indeed “essentially” 2400 in the minds of any and all adcoms. ESPECIALLY if the low split is Math.
