My D keeps checking the portal, her email and snail mail. Was expecting decision April 1st. Nothing…
Did she apply regular decision or is she a transfer student? Transfer decisions come out in mid April. If she applied regular decision and still hasn’t received anything, you need to call admissions on Monday. Most of the time when people don’t hear it’s because some of their materials weren’t received on time.
Yes, she was planning to call on Monday and applied RD. Thought her application was complete ages ago! Thank you!
I hope you get some good news on Monday. I know the wait is very difficult. Best of luck to her!
Same here. No decision yet. And I too keep checking the portal, email and letter box. I’ve been accepted by just one university and I have no idea what I am going to do.
@PelicanMom has your D received her decision?
No, @Aintnoabc, but when she called the admissions office, she learned they had never received her test scores! Even though the portal said her app was complete. Good luck to you! You may want to call the office too!
@PelicanMom Thank you for your wishes. I’ll call 'em today. They just don’t respond to my emails. So what will happen to your D’s app now?
Wait…they just responded to my email : “Thank you for your email. Please let us know your full name, date of birth, and the email address you used on your application and we can review your file. If you have additional questions please let us know.”
No decision here either. Applied RD. Slight glitch in app which S called about 2 weeks ago and was assured would be fixed, no need to do anything more.
@PelicanMom I called the admissions office today…and guess what…the same thing…they say that they haven’t received my test scores. I checked my collegeboard account and it showed that the scores were sent on November 23rd,2014. God knows what will happen now because I wont be going to any university!
Good luck, @Aintnoabc! I hope by now you’ve received good news. My daughter STILL hasn’t heard… so she’s committed elsewhere.
We are still waiting as well.
Bummer. So sorry. My D has now committed to another school! Good luck.
@Aintnoabc I had a similar issue where UMD claimed not to have received my test scores. Apparently there was a minor difference like one had my middle initial while the other had my full middle name or something that prevented it from matching to the app. It was easily solved with a 2 minute call to admissions.
@Matt846 first they told me that they didn’t receive my test scores. Then They responded through email saying that my transcripts arrived after the deadline. Now they will review my application after May 1, if there’s any space available. The problem for me here is that I’ve been accepted only into UNC, where I cannot afford to attend. So I don’t know where I am going. Wait listed by two, so waiting on them.
