anyone else feeling burnt out?

Yep. I'm already skipping homework and classes, thus I have Bs in most of my classes (luckily UCs won't see my senior grades).

I just don't care about this anymore. I'll just chill and breeze my way through my senior year.... or so I thought, getting a B in AP Chemistry is much harder than I thought -_- brb time to finish my 5 hour lab report.

What if we were all penguins and lived in the north pole ...

i'd be like..... **** ap calc ima go swim.

I think it is the hardest, because no where else in life (mabye except in college.dont want to think about that yet) will people have to work 20 hour workdays of ultrahard labor that has such vast consequences. At a job later on, you only work a nice 9 hours a day usually, and if you screw up, so what, you get fired and whatever, but you can always just get a new job. Screw up here and theres no turning back.

I really need something to the effect of an academic "bye" week. If pro sports can get it, why can't we, after all college admissions are more or less some kind of elusive game.

well, no. getting fired isn't like a whatever thing. you have to state that wherever you apply for work, and supply the reason why. And most well-paying jobs require far more than 9 hours a day, but on your own time.

College, law school, med school, biz school, life, etc. Junior year is far from hard in comparison to what is to come.

academically, obviously, as law school and stuff is just plain old *****ness, but its still 100x harder than what many adults do for a job
Besides, its easier to just study for 1 standarized test (LSAT) than to study for 50.

but whatever, im just bitter right now, cause my workload is especially in comparison to most people, due to special circumstances which im very unhappy over.

i'd say that even working at a fast-food restaurant, the difficulty in getting ahead and staying out of debt, etc. would be far more stressful than maintaining a 4.0. the same goes for working at a high-profile law firm, for example, where one screwed-up case can ruin the reputation of everyone in the company.

yea nvm about what i said before, i see now i was making exaggerated statements, im just feeling stressed out so i guess my statements are incoherent, so nvm

How can you NOT feel burned out when you have to wake up before dawn every morning?

Can't wait till after I turn applications in. Now if I can just get myself to write these essays...

edit: Wrong Thread.

honors pre-calculus and ap physics b midterms tomorrow. bleeeeeeeeh. x.x

If you're feeling burned out from that...just wait till a month into college. I have an insane amount of work to do, and I only took 13 credits for my first semester. APs are a joke compared to college work.

I hate Ap American History since mainly because I procastanate ( Can't spell) and do my reading/homework at the last minute. I stay up until like 2 at night to study for APUSh tests and wake up at 4 am to continue studying. IM sooo lazy.

I think the most frustrating thing about this year isn't just the workload itself, but the fact that we have to do all of this crap for classes . . . and I'm not really learning anything. I mean, if there was some educating going on I wouldn't be complaining so much, but even in AP classes, I keep wondering what the value in my being there is . . . Anyone else feeling like this?

me? I go to a friends house and work on the hw together and we hang out. Both fun and work at the same time.
