Burnt out

Anyone else feeling burnt out this time of year? I have so many tests and projects to juggle, it's crazy. The stress and lack of sleep is definitely catching up with me...my grades have slipped a bit this quarter (worst part is, I'm a junior, so this is the last quarter that goes towards my cum. GPA for college apps).

Any suggestions about how to stay on top of it all (and maintaining some sanity!) would definitely be welcome. :)

I think staying organized and managing your time better will definately make you calm down. Depending on your preference, get the harder or easier stuff done and work your way up.

The same thing has happened to me. I’m a junior too, and there are assignments that it’s not that I was too lazy to do them, but they just totally slipped my mind because of the stress, and my grades are slipping too. What I’m doing in this last week (so close!) is making a schedule of how much time I need to be spending on each project and studying for each exam and sticking to it, so that the lack of sleep isn’t a problem. Also, I’ve been doing A LOT of work during my AP classes and such that are basically already done, and that has helped a ton with alleviating the stress. Focusing on one project at a time to just get them out of the way is good for stress relief too. Best of luck to you!

I am also cooled out right now. All my Ap tests are done and there is nothing to worry about

Ah, you guys are lucky in your Ap classes…in mine we’re still working on stuff! Projects, papers, even in literature, after the test, we’ve read two books. My friend who’s taking Calc is still learning new concepts and even has a quiz next week (our last day for seniors is the 29th). Crazy I say.

I always get annoyed towards the end of a 9 weeks and semester. Teachers always seem to stack up on projects and exams. Then, during the beginning on the 9 weeks we do nothing but slack, so it seems. ><

Whatever, actually this 9 weeks I have not been burnt out as most. I’m only juggling an a/b+ in a few classes, which gets annoying.

I’m done with this school, but after I finished my Art History and Eng Lang AP tests I was very relaxed as opposed to burnt out.

Okay, I feel SO burnt out…but a lot of that is just because of the personality I have…mostly that I tend to stress even when it’s completely unnecessary.

But (thankfully) my grades haven’t slipped, mostly because I keep telling myself the year is almost over and summer is almost here.

I can’t wait. Even though I don’t know what I’m doing…Summer is truly the greatest season!

ahhh i have three classes that are currently in the b+ range, my last few tests will literally MAKE or BREAK it all.

■■■. =(

you need a straw?
to suck it up???

I was just about burnt out but I just finished my last AP/IB test yesterday and since 7/9 periods of my day are those classes, I’m almost completely done for the year so I’m pretty relaxed

I’m thinking all the crazy stress at the end of the year is why I got sick… And am now spending my first week of summer vacation miserable hah.
