Anyone else get rejected from all the Ivies they applied to?

I got rejected from all the ivies I applied to.

UPenn, Brown, Princeton, and Cornell.

BUT I DONT CARE.

IM GOING TO JOHNS HOPKINS

This night will ruin many dreams and make many people sad...good thing you're not one of them.

And really you shouldn't, since Johns Hopkins still kicks ass.

I was rejected from Yale and Princeton...waitlisted at dartmouth, and i STILL havent gotten my harvard email damnit.

I'm either going to middlebury college or georgetown though, and I'm really happy with both of those

Yeah I was rejected at all the ivys I applied to.
Dartmouth
That's it haha, just applied to one

i did... (10 char)

Waitlisted: Penn, Cornell
Basically reject anyways

Yale and Dartmouth, though I didn't expect to get into either. Yay possible-gap-year?

Rejected from Dartmouth, Columbia, and Brown. I didn't really care, didn't expect to get in. I was more than happy with the choices I had. I'll be going to Reed, Oberlin, or Wesleyan (leaning towards Reed).

yep, plus five other schools. o joy.

I did.

I wish I could say I didn't care.. IF ONLY CHICAGO WOULD LET ME OFF THEIR WAITLIST :(

Rejected from Penn ED and now Brown RD. I don't mind since that's what I was expecting! Probably end up at Gettysburg or UMich, maybe Northwestern/BC if I get off their wait lists.

Yes, but I only applied to one (Columbia).

Columbia didn't bring me much joy either in December.

All my friends who applied to Ivies didn't get in. Some applied to four, others just to one. One girl from my school got into Brown, that's it.

Someone, who shall not be named is a prestige whore. She applied to HYP, Dartmouth, Columbia, Brown, Rice, and Stanford. She was waitlisted at Rice and rejected from Stanford. AND, since she hasn't posted any exciting news for some time, I'm assuming she was rejected from all of the Ivies she applied to.

She had NO safeties.
So you all shouldn't worry as long as you got into one school.
She's third in our class, member of the drill team, excellent GPA, Ivy-average SATs, little ECs other than drill team and Mu Alpha Theta/UIL, no leadership positions, little community service, and basically rode the salutorian's coattails (she got accepted to Yale early decision)

Now she has a big 0 for acceptances.
Lesson for the day: use a safety net, don't be a prestige whore, and be realistic.

Yep.

Going to Northwestern now.

unlessuchicagoacceptsmeofftheirwaitlist.

Yeah.....I was...

But I'm going to Rice!! :D

-Someone, who shall not be named, is sticking their nose where it doesn't belong.

Not a good feeling at all

I wouldn't be as harsh if it were a more humble person.
But if you had to endure the "holier than thou, Texas sucks, I'm so much better than you all" attitude, you would understand. But you don't.
