<p>Thank you for your interest in American University. The Admissions Committee has begun its review of completed freshman application files and will release all decisions by April 1.</p>
<p>I am surprised some have found out and many others have not, anyone have an updated scoop?</p>
<p>I think that they are informing the Honors Program acceptees first, at least that's what it seems. Or, they're just doing the notification in "waves" like a lot of schools do.</p>

<p>kellyconn, im pretty sure everyone has that message on their portal.... I was already accepted and it still says that on mine!</p>
<p>but do you think that american has let anyone who got in already know? In other words those of us who haven't heard, its likely that we were not accpeted? Now I am totally confused and somewhat disturbed by this.</p>
<p>I wouldn't worry about it, kellyconn1. They have lots of emails to send out. Like peachykween said, they're probably sending them in "waves."</p>
<p>Not everyone that gets in gets an email according to some of my AU friends!</p>
