@pittsburghscribe I also haven’t heard back from them yet but I’m pretty sure the deadline is Sept. 9th.
Hey, does anyone have any idea how the transportation is handled from the airport to Rice?
@pittsburghscribe I’m in the same boat as you! I’m expecting a rejection because I didn’t find out about the program until the day before the deadline – I’ll try not to think about it until after Friday though.
@pickletickler (great name by the way) did you hear anything? Nothing on our end today.
I called the office of admissions today and they said that they didn’t send anything out today and just said that the admissions process is “rolling” and that we’d hear either way.

@Drewax11 If the admissions process is rolling, wouldn’t all the spots have filled up before the last few days before the deadline then? 
Didn’t they say all decisions would be out by today? I still haven’t received mine…

I applied on September 4th, the day before the application was due, and was offered admission to the program on September 9th, the day they said they would email. Not sure if that helps anyone.

@pickletickler they didn’t say whether all the spots were filled up. They just denied that there was a September 9th deadline to hear anything back and said that they hadn’t sent anything out that day (the 9th) and that people would hear either way. Kind of sucks for people who were going to do Discover Rice if they didn’t get in because now that its just over a week before it, flights are going to be really pricey.

Rejected. Email said over 1400 applied for 125 spaces. Glad I wasn’t expecting much!
