Emails are sent to notify you when a thread you posted on has received another response. This is nothing new to me.
But now, ever since the new forum came up, I am getting dozens and dozens AND DOZENS of these messages related to various other posters/ every thread I’ve posted on, and every single response says “Have a great day!” Can this be stopped without having to start a different account with a new user name/email address?
To clarify, all of these notifications have the correct time, thread, and poster. The poster indicated in the email actually did post on that thread at that time. It is just that every messages reads, “Have a great day!” instead of what was actually posted. Does anyone have any idea how this could happen? (I am not the most computer savvy person. . .) I have gotten other emails (not related to CC) that don’t have this problem.
Many who got a single (or fewer) notices in the past are complaining about this. Get into your profile and turn off email notifications. Two of the threads are While we were Sleeping and CC Forums back Online. There are others.
Oh. Duh. It used to tell you what the post actually said. Now you have to go to the site to read the post. (I thought the “Have a great day!” WAS the “post.” LOL :"> )
I’m too old for change. Please can we have Classic CC back–at least for us old parents?
