<p>I seriously think that if we really want to talk about stealing more water, we should first focus on lowering how much we use in the first place. I mean, it's kind of ridiculous that people water their lawns on a daily basis, wash their cars just as much, let leaky faucets be, businesses let sprinklers go on for a good half-hour, etc...</p>
<p>^ That's true. I was kinda shocked when I first heard people left their faucets on while brushing their teeth. I saw Owen's Lake a few years ago, and it didn't look like it would last much longer. Eventually southern california is going to shrivel up and die, unless desalination improves a lot.</p>

<p>Uh, why are people complaining about snow? I would like some cold weather here. I went to school in a t-shirt today (and I get cold easily).</p>

<p>-out at 10:00 a.m. Monday
-School canceled Tuesday
-2 hour late start Wednesday
-School canceled Thursday
-2 hour late start Friday</p>
<p>Because I'm a senior, I don't have to make any of it up either :)</p>
<p>Yeah, last couple days it was between -25 and -36 with wind chill... we went to school monday, then got tues-friday off, plus next monday for Martin Luther King day, so a 7 day weekend :)... unfortunately, we'll have to make it all up in May.</p>
