Anyone Else's Guidance Counselor Letter Say "Not Received?"

On the online status page, my guidance counselor's letter is not received.

I just called, and the lady said that they'll send e-mails to everyone informing what's missing on their file.

She sounded like a devil and blocked me out when I tried to point out the fact that the letter was not received.

She repeated that nothing's missing unless the e-mail confirms so.

She ended the conversation nicely though.

Weird.

Does anyone else have the same problem?

Secondary School / Dean's Report Not received?

It takes a while to sort out, process, and update materials from 20,000+ applicants.

yeah I wouldn't worry until at least like February 15th. hahah. It'll get there don't worry.

I'm sure it's sitting in some huge mail bin in the Harvard admissions office already and some poor person is trying as fast as they can to process that huge mail bin.

I agree with thefishofsorts. Just wait for the email...and also, don't even worry about the lady being mean on the phone. Imagine what you would do if somebody gave you 20,000 people (and their pieces of mail) to deal with. I, for one, would like...cry.

I doubt one person does it though..

Well...yeah. But like...to make the story a little more sad/pathetic. ;)

Mine says that but I think it's completely normal.

it says my teacher recommendation reports were received on jan 18th, but my guidance counselor recs are not received. Both recs were sent in the last week of december. I think it's normal though. we just gotta wait, i guess.

my rec letters were sent in late december, but the status website said not received for a long time
i worried a lot too, even though i knew for sure the letters had been sent.
If you (or your shcool) do not get the envelope back in the mail because something was wrong with it, i would assume it got there
i just recently saw my status get changed, so i would not worry =) just hold on for a little bit longer
