<p>just wondering. i was really close, but got a C instead. what about a D? could northwestern take a student with that grade, but who also had great sat scores/essay/recs/ecs, etc??</p>
<p>While I like to pretend I am the prime candidate, I've had some grades I've been, erm, less-than-proud of. I struggle in math and science, primarily; luckily, my high school tacked ten points (on the 100-point scale) onto all scores received in an AP class. Thus, I received all As and Bs, but, unweighted, I would have had one D and a handful of Cs.</p>
<p>I will be a freshman at NU this fall (two weeks, FTW!); I like to believe that my other stats made up for a few bad apples (in my grades).</p>
