@MIThopeful16: I’m fairly certain that I haven’t- as confirmed by the myriad of other CCers who posted on this thread- but thanks for the advice.

^ North/Central/South Jersey?

I would just like to point out that I know Michael Ma, and he’s very down to earth for how smart he is. Just another smart person who is capable of not being arrogant.

@Jersey13: North, Essex County…you? (I don’t want to hijack this thread though! Haha, PM?)

This has been such an amusing thread! The intelligence of all of the posters is quite evident, though I’d like to make the argument that intelligence may not be the most valuable attribute.

What good is intelligence if you have no “worldly experience” to apply it to?
(Just my thought)

Also, in defense of the OP (despite his arrogance), I don’t think he was trying to brag. He seemed to simply be expressing an issue he was dealing with, though I do think that his arrogance may be causing the problem. However, I do not know him and it may not be the cause of the problem. If his arrogance is the cause, a friendly and humble attitude should fix the problem, as long as it’s genuine.

Hope everyone everyone doesn’t mind my input, and that they’re having a good evening
:)

And you guys really have been beating the OP up…
lol

Arrogance aside, I’m sure he still has feelings.

^ Good evening to you as well. :)

It was not so subtly veiled self aggrandization, not an actual dilemma.

He’s cool. Real life isn’t dramatic enough, we have to create it in HSL.

QwertyKey- Haha okay it’s all good then.

Michael Ma actually qualified for USAMO in 3rd grade last year, as well.

That kid is a genius. No doubt, whatever his IQ.

An IQ of 180 means you are smarter than Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton, two pioneers in a field called physics.

Gosh, I feel like I’m stalking the kid lol…but how do you know Michael Ma, Anon? If you don’t mind answering.

And I had no idea he qualified as a third grader as well. I only found out about the AMCs and such this year lol. Wow. But that’s just amazing.
