Does anyone else feel guilty when they're the last to post?

You know, in threads, do you feel guilty when you see that you're the last person who posted? I feel bad if the thread dies and I was the last poster in that thread, because I'll feel like the threadkiller.

Yeah I do too.

Same here. If no one posts below me, I’ll be very embarrassed.

I feel worse when I make a short-lived thread!

OH DEAR GOD, WHY?!?1

WHYY DIDN’T I POST SOMETHING INTERESTING ENOUGH TO KEEP YOU ALIVEEE

We could always change the subject to keep the thread alive.

Yeah I usually feel like a ■■■■■■ when that happens, especially when it’s my own thread.

Yes, I occasionally feel that way as well.

The only way to keep a thread alive is to say something controversial and watch what ensues.

I love killing threads.

^^okay: the lack of apparent intelligence/common sense etc. in today’s youth. seriously, when i went to public school everyone was just so STUPID and most people didn’t even understand basic politics or have any sort of opinion on the issues. though i guess that’s not controversial, just regrettable.

Usually, I’m only surrounded by kids in honors/AP classes, so I’m not really exposed to that kind of stuff. I helped an earth science teacher grade her students’ test and sometimes I see things like “I hypothesize that the oil will sink in water because it’s heavier” (kind of understandable though, you can’t really blame these kids… right?)

I’d be o.O

My friend, she had to take art to fulfill the graduation requirement. That class was full of the non-honors/AP kids… I enjoyed listening to her stories.

“What colors do you mix to make red?”

“How do you spell ‘prom’?”

“Ahhh get that marker away from my cookie!! I don’t want to get lead poisoning!”

Haha well there wasn’t really any kind of advanced math class, so i self-studied “Grade 10 Math” in class and waited to ask my teacher questions whenever people were doing some sort of work. Some of them actually had trouble multiplying fractions. In grade 9. And I was supposed to be in 8th grade but skipped because of curriculum [i then repeated once i got to high school and wasn’t even in the highest math class that freshmen were taking].

Thing is, it wasn’t even in a bad neighborhood or anything. It was a bunch of middle class suburban kids. the school had plenty of funding. But a lot the parents were soft and didn’t pressure their kids to do well and we weren’t even required to do our homework.

The thing about people not understanding basic politics or not having their own opinions…I don’t really talk to people about politics, so I don’t know how true this is. This one time I did though, and my friend had a strong, yet misguided opinion on having the US abolishing its military. o.O

She also blamed the BP oil spill on the US.

yes

(hopes someone posts beneath him)

Lol, yeah. Maybe I’m just being self conscious, but I feel that most of my posts are thread killers -.-

I shall say something offensive and hope it merits a response below my post :)

You, the reader, are a piece of ****.

The U.S. military commits a lot of crimes, kills a lot of people, and is the reason why we are considered the “world’s police.” And yet abolishing it would be perhaps one the stupidest things ever done in the history of ever.

no, it was because the thread was about to die and you were the last one to try to save it but it was too late.

On a scale of 1 to Schoolisfun, how much of a threadkiller are you?

herro prease

I feel like a loser.

Come on, nobody wanted to reply after me.
