Anyone from SUNY Purchase or Rutgers?

<p>I just came back from Unifieds in Chicago, and both my SUNY and Rutgers auditions went extremely well. Both schools have always been near the top of my list...however, I now realize I want to at least take a singing class or private lessons within my college schedule (I feel like I need to continue to develop my voice). Both are intense programs, and I only see one singing class for Purchase. </p>

<p>Does anyone who attend either program know if I can take singing classes at either school all four years (minus the year abroad with Rutgers, of course)?</p>

<p>I know both programs most likely have a Voice and Speech class that although technically focuses on the speaking voice will positively impact your one’s singing voice as well. Aside from that, although not a part of the curriculum, I know at Rutgers, one would be able to work a voice lesson into their schedule as an elective… or even pursue it outside of school.</p>
