the title pretty much explains it

yeah. i got accepted yesterday. they e-mailed my decision because I'm an international.

Me too, I live overseas. (I wasn't expecting the email to come until couple days later...so I opened it thinking it was spam)

Congrats to you too, bijan!

Congrats! :) I still haven't heard yet.

I did. I got it in the mail today. Accepted!!!!! :D

I'm still shocked!

Congrats to everyone who got in. Where do U.S. acceptances live? I'm in NJ and nothing came today. Getting very nervous!

my friend did

Thanks! I live in NJ, too, so you will probably get your letter very soon. Don't worry and good luck! :)

Believe me, I thought that I had no chance of getting in, so don't count yourself as down and out just yet. You may be in for a pleasant surprise!

Thanks so much! Where in NJ?

I got an email saying I didn't get in.

Wow, i did not know they sent out e-mails. Does Vassar usually send non-acceptances through e-mail? I'm really sorry to hear. Good luck on all your other colleges.

I'm not sure. The email went to my spam folder on the 23rd, but I just saw it today. It said that they knew international mail took a long time, so that's why they were sending an email. They had an incorrect street address and wrote it backwards--number after the (wrong) street name. But it also said New Jersey, so I don't know why they would think I was an international student. I'll post tomorrow if I get anything in US mail.

got my acceptance letter in the mail today :)

...as did I!!!

awesome! congrats!

I'm in as well!
Letter came yesterday.
