lilmenlonred, if you weren’t academically qualified for eop, that means you don’t qualify at all for eop right? Did you hear back from stony yet? and what was your gpa?

Yeah if im not academically qualified for EOP that means i don’t qualify at all. My gpa is like 3.6-3.7

NickOGY, when did you send in your documents for eop?

@greentea177, i believe it was feb 13

I don’t know how I got in. I was also accepted to UB regular decision.

@Nopeavi are you apply EOP???/

Yes. Accepted to the EOP at Stony Brook.

@Nopeavi,when did you send your family tax paper to SBU??

Mid January

@Nopeavi that early???

The EOP program admissions might be done on a first-come, first-served basis, so I applied very early for everything.

@Nopeavi so do you know when will be the second-come?

All I know is that you will probably receive your acceptance/rejection letter this month. If enough people deny their EOP offer, they may select more students.

So far, you either have this on your SOLAR account:

APPLICATION STATUS:
Congratulations! You’ve been admitted to Stony Brook University’s EOP/AIM Program. You will receive your letter of admission within the next two weeks, providing you with details regarding your acceptance. In the meantime, please visit our Admitted Student Website for a list of the steps you need to take to enroll at Stony Brook University.

Or a message saying your application is currently being reviewed. As soon as you see additional tabs such as “For New Students” open up you basically got accepted even if you haven’t received a letter/application status change(This was the case for me).

@Nopeavi thanks for the info```

I got an email in Jan. saying that I was academically eligible for eop and they just needed to see about financially. I handed in my forms at the tour feb. 11th and i still haven’t heard anything.

580 writing

@Nopeavi, how low is your family’s financial income?
@sasukra33, your gpa seems a bit high for eop… and they still accepted you academically? i heard from them that they should send out acceptances around this week or next week… im really nervous… haha
