<p>Although san Marcos denied me, I can always reapply this fall for next year. If u really want to go u also have that choice, and I was tolled it wasn’t so hard just as long as u don’t go over the unit cap. </p>

<p>So I gave San Marcos a call and the lady had told me that it wasn’t the fact that those that had “Denied Reason: Impaction Criteria Not Met” were actually decline. It was the fact that they did not have space for those who were outside their local area (i.e. Mt. San Jacinto, Palomar College). They weren’t even able to review those applications. She said if San Marcos was your first choice, she recommends enrolling to one of their local area colleges and then reapplying because it’s most likely you will get accepted for fall 2013. </p>
<p>San Marcos was my first choice, but I don’t want to wait another year when I have all my GE and lower division classes done. Instead I’m going to Long Beach State; I’m happy with that :). Good luck to everyone else.</p>
<p>@roseyourboat, thanks. I actually feel better about that, knowing that I was decline and not rejected. Although csusm was my first choose I’m just gonna go csudh. I’m visiting it on Thursday and I’m supper stoke</p>
<p>Wow that’s crazy, but I guess these budget cuts don’t help. Well atleast we know that it wasn’t really a rejection.</p>
